This radio is pretty neat overall. No instruction on how to unlock it and it ships in locked state. Programming can only be done with a PC once it is unlocked. After a week of. Trial and error I can finally use it. This could all be corrected with a decent owners manual in understandable English.

After the first time on-air with the HF, I can say this transceiver is a winner — and a Keeper.
Loaded with features, efficient, easy to use and compact. I mated this transceiver with the new Super AntennaMP1DXG SuperStick Portable HF Antenna. Multi-band 40m - 10m.
My entire package: transceiver, battery, antenna, and cables, including backpack, weighed in at under 20lbs

I absolutely love this little rig. While it wasn't my first venture into the realm of compact Chinese transceivers, it has quickly become my favorite. My previous experience with the Radioddity QR20 was a disappointment on every level, but this rig excels in multiple areas. It's loud, powerful enough for its size, well-built, versatile, and boasts a large user community, making it easy to find answers regarding usage or repairs.

Bought it because of the water/dust proof rating, mounted in my rzr so that is a must.
Only time will tell if it last, but I like it so far.
Paired it with a tram antenna mounted on the roof and we are good to go.
If you are looking at buying this radio and only need 25 watts it is well worth the money.

Purchased two of these for installation in my vehicles; manually programmed both with identical frequencies, about 40 or so. These are simple to program, also EZ to 'expand' the bandwidth to accommodate greater frequency ranges. The radio itself is small, rugged and very solid feeling. The waterproofing is evident, although I'm not about to test it. The microphone is noticeably more substantial feeling than many radios of similar purpose; overall it's a great choice at a nice price point.
