Pretty light and quite sturdy. It is strong enough to hold 160lbs easily. The paint seems to be tough ad didn't chip or Crack I shipping. The action is smooth and it's easily operated.

I'm very happy with this little stepladder. I ordered the 4-step version and it is exactly what we needed. fitting just right in that spot between the refrigerator and the wall. It's lightweight, perfect for older folks to carry around the house. It is also very stable when opened, and the steps are large,much larger than your typical ladder. Just a great, simple, inexpensive little stepladder for around the house. Five stars for me.
