Its cooling method is simple and effective: it uses water evaporation to reduce the temperature of the incoming air. I keep it right next to me. Every day, I fill the 2 gallon water tank and toss in the included ice packs that I keep frozen. The built-in pump then circulates the water to the top, allowing it to flow down and fully cover the cooling pads behind the air intake. As warm air passes through, it’s cooled significantly. This cooler runs for up to 14 hours, which easily covers a full workday. It’s compact, which is perfect for my limited working area. It doesn’t take up much space, yet it delivers powerful, consistent relief. For anyone working in hot, open areas, this is a must-have. I’ve relied on it all summer long — highly recommended and absolutely worth five stars!
