Pool Pump Motor 115/230V For Hayward Super Pump Replacement Motor

Installed perfectly on my Jandy FHPM 1.0 hp pool pump: exact match for pump body attachment, shaft seal, impeller threads, and reverse-thread locking screw. This motor had a metal end cap protecting the wiring whereas my old motor had a plastic end cap. Installed in November 2025, and I will update this review if there are issues.

It was a direct replacement for my previous pump motor, was easy to install and quieter then the old one.I've been using it for a while now and it's working well so far. I would recommend it.

Easy to install looked up a guide on youtube for my type of pool pump and had it installed within the hour. Everything working great.

I received and installed this pool pump motor with no issues. Seems to run perfectly and it’s quiet. I can’t speak for long term yet but so far, it appears promising.

Exact fit. Only thing is to check the voltage setting from the factory. My motor came with an orange warning label stating it was setup for 230v. It was not. It was setup for 115v. Not a big deal as you just have to move a plug over one slot. Just a heads up to double check before starting.

The UST1152 fits perfectly, but I had to adjust the wiring and seal a little to stop a small leak. Once I got it right, it ran smoothly. It’s powerful and keeps the pool clean, just wish the instructions were a bit clearer. Otherwise, a strong motor for the price.

I replaced my old Hayward Super Pump motor with this UST1152, and the installation went perfectly. All the mounting holes lined up, the wiring was clear, and it started on the first try. Fits my Pentair superflo pump, has the right shape bezel and right size frame. Threads match and mate up. Runs quiet and cool so far. Half the price as the factory name.

Very Easy to install Very Powerful the water is circulating rapid speed. The pump is Quite. it was a Smart move to replace with this Super Pump than rebuild the old one. Iam sure it’s a lot more efficient.

Used this to replace the motor on a hayward Superpump II . Arrived quicky and was able to get the pool circulating again after 2 days of no circulation. So far so good. The case seems "thinner" but it's actually quieter than the Hayward and based on filter pressure and flow off the spa waterfall, seems to be a true 1.5 HP pump. It shipped quickly and for the price it seems to be a great deal compared to the Hayward . Would love to see what their 3 HP pump can do/last. That would allow me to just run on pump and still be able to run the hot tub and all water features and pressure side creepy crawler.

The motor runs smoothly and quietly. It’s very efficient, and I’ve noticed that my pool system is running better than ever. It also handles the 230V power without any issues, and it doesn’t overheat.

I love that this motor supports both 230V and 115V. It gave me flexibility to use the existing wiring in my pool system, which made installation a lot easier.
