I was surprised at how quiet it is. Compared to my old pump, this one barely makes a sound. Perfect for early morning runs without disturbing anyone.

I did research on pool pumps after my rebuilt pool pump had a bearing start to go bad. This pump is listed with a rating of 5.0 . It was still cheaper than rebuilding my existing pump so i figured I’d try it. 1 week in and no issues and much quieter than my old pump.

Replaced my 15 year old Hayward pump, took me less than 45 minutes to replace, sounds so quiet.

This is well worth the price. I recommend this motor if you have a pool pump that needs to be replaced. My local pool supply place wanted the twice the amount that this cost me. I would recommend that only someone with experience or a professional to change this motor. You are dealing with Electricity and Plumbing and a wrong installation can burn up the motor.

Perfect replacement for my Hayward Pro Series filter. Make sure and order a new mechanical seal and gasket set. No runs…no drips…no errors! A 30 plus year old system running like new…oh did I mention it saved me lots of $$$$$😎
